‘Mother!’ yelled Charlie, rushing in on them like a hurricane. ‘Look! I’ve got it! Look, Mother, look! The last Golden Ticket! It’s mine! I found some money in the street and I bought two bars of chocolate and the second one had the Golden Ticket and there were crowds of people all around me wanting to see it and the shopkeeper rescued me and I ran all the way home and here I am! IT’S THE FIFTH GOLDEN TICKET, MOTHER, AND I’VE FOUND IT!’*
Hello Booklovers,
We’re sure you’ll be almost as excited as Charlie Bucket to get your hands on our 2015 festival tickets. That’s right, all of our tickets are (metaphorically) golden and I’m delighted to announce that they will be on sale from Monday 20th April!
With the likes of Erica James, Patrick Gale, Esther Freud and Terry Waite joining us this year, we’re anticipating that tickets will go like hotcakes. Please do get in there quickly to avoid disappointment as capacity is limited for the vast majority of our events.
This year tickets will be available from Monday on the website and from Tuesday from Stillwater Books in Felixstowe. Prices for most events are £7 (£5 concessions), although these do vary.
Bookish best wishes,
Hannah
*Our delightful quotation is of course taken from Roald Dahl’s fabulous Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
‘Tickets will be available from Monday on the website’. Ok – here I am on the website on the 20th ready to obtain some tickets but nowhere can I see the invitation ‘Book Tickets’. Am I just being stupid? Valerie
Hi Valerie,
You were doing everything fine – we just had a few technical glitches today! Everything should be fine now, but any problems please do call our ticket providers on 01473 295900.
Best wishes from the Festival Team 🙂
Another stupid one, I’m afraid. It’s the 22nd and I can find no ‘Book Tickets” tab.
Hi Roger,
The link is at the bottom of each event where it says ‘book here’ 🙂
Happy booking!
