Don’t forget that the winner will be published in Suffolk Magazine, win a year’s subscription to the magazine and £50. Second and third place winners will win £10. All winners will also get the opportunity to read their stories (or have it read on their behalf) at the final event of this year’s Festival. Simply send 3 copies of your story to: Felixstowe Library, Crescent Road, Felixstowe, IP11 7BY and please include a £5 entry fee to cover administration (cheques payable to Felixstowe Book Festival, please.) For full details go to our competitions page.
2. Buy tickets for our Quiz Night
Everybody loves a quiz night so come and join us this Friday with your thinking caps on! Questions will mostly be general knowledge with a few bookish ones thrown in for good measure. Come along to St Mary’s Church Hall in Walton at 7:15 for a 7:30 start with a team of up to six people. Tickets are £7.50 which includes a ploughman’s supper (BYOB) and you can buy them from Stillwater Books in Felixstowe or reserve them by calling Viv on 01394 549567.
