Calling all budding writers!
Details of our adult short story competition has just gone live on the website. You have until midnight on Saturday 26th April to submit a story (between 1500 and 1800 words) on the theme of ‘Conflict’.
You may feel inspired by the World war One centenary celebrations or perhaps the many modern day conflicts we are faced with. Maybe you will write about a family feud or a friendship that ended badly. Perhaps you will take inspiration from an internal, psychological conflict. The possibilities are numerous and we can’t wait to listen to the winning entries at our Bedtime Story event, which is the grand finale of the festival.
For all the information you need about entering visit our Competitions page here.
On the marks, pens at the ready (or fingers at the keyboard), WRITE!
