DESCRIPTION:Carol Drinkwater’s books\, including her memoirs set on her olive farm in the south of France\, have sold over one million copies worldwide. More recently she has written novels such as The House of the Edge of the Cliff… a wonderful story of France and the swinging sixties\, An Act of Love set in the Second World War\, The Lost Girl and The Forgotten Summer. \n\nShe is an award-winning actress\, best known for playing Helen Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small in the 1970’s and\, in 2021\, shared her life in Provence  in a Channel Five TV series.
