DESCRIPTION:As the world of publishing continues to evolve\, writers Jeanet
 te Hewitt\, Susi Holliday and Jane Isaac join Andrew Whittaker to talk abo
 ut their writing\, their inspirations and their personal publishing journ
 eys.\n\nJeanette’s favourite genre is Historical fiction and she likes t
 o combine actual events and real people in her writing. She has written 
 two novels: Freedom First and Worlds Apart. Susi started off writing s
 hort stories before moving on to a psychological thriller novel\, Black 
 Wood (March 2015). Susi likes to use the “what if…” scenario to gu
 ide her writing. Jane writes crime fiction\, and is fascinated by ordinary
  lives touched by extraordinary events. She has written three novels: An
  Unfamiliar Murder\, The Truth Will Out and the most recent\, Before It
 ’s Too Late (June 2015). Andrew is a magazine and book editor\, and aut
 hor of two non-fiction books\, Second-hand and Vintage London and Spea
 k the Culture: France.\n\nThese writers are all published by independent p
 resses\, and Andrew will moderate a lively and varied panel on how they 
 landed their first contract\, the highs and lows of working with an indie
  house\, and the inspirations for their work. So\, if you are a new or as
 piring writer looking to clinch that all-important book deal\, or interes
 ted in novels that focus on real people and some of the darker elements o
 f the human psyche\, then this is the event for you.\n\n&nbsp\;
