DESCRIPTION:National Coastguard Rescue Boat will be on a trailer for the public to inspect. Volunteers will tell stories of rescues and of the Felixstowe Life Boat that launched in 1801 - the first in East Anglia.\n\nThis area overlooks the loading area of the Port and the historic Landguard Fort - worth a visit in itself.\n\nThis event is part of the Pop-Up Festival which will be using unique venues around Felixstowe for charge free\, intergenerational events inspired by our port and sea side location.
