Two hour Creative Writing & Performance workshop, focussing on writing a short piece of creative work ready for performance, tips on reading and performing your work, and using performance to help with editing. Beginners welcome.

Emma Kittle-Pey is teaching literature and studying for her PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Essex. She runs Colchester WriteNight and is the author of Gold Adornments and other stories, many of which were written for performance. 

Mark Brayley is poet and novelist based in Essex. Author of Disarming the Porcupine, The Unfettered Cube and Stance, and having performed poetry for many years, he has a range of styles but has a particular predilection to the work of the French writing group OuLiPo. He is the poetry editor and commissioner for Patrician Press.
