The FbF Book Club focusses on writers who will be appearing at the Festival this year and is held monthly leading up to the Festival. All meetings are held at Cuppa Cafe on a Monday afternoon. Our first discussion was held on Monday 27th February when we talked about the work of Louise Doughty. Louise Doughty wrote Apple Tree Yard which has been adapted for television and her recent book Platform Seven is currently in production. Louise will be appearing at the festival on Saturday 24th June.
Sessions take place at 2.30pm at Cuppa Cafe, 81 High Road West, Felixstowe, IP11 9AA.
If you arrive early you will be able to buy a cuppa and perhaps a slice of Sarah’s delicious cake.
Here is the programme for the series of meetings in the run up to Festival weekend.
3rd April The Eight Year Lie by J. M. Hewitt
12th May Lost for Words by Stephanie Butland (this is a change of date)
12th June The Golden Rule by Amanda Craig
