We are thrilled to welcome back comedian and author James Campbell who has wowed us before with his hilarious comedy show. This time he talks about his latest book – The Funny Life of Football. This isn’t a normal book about football though. The main difference is that it was written by someone who doesn’t really know anything about football. It does indeed cover standard football things like the World Cup and Maradona’s hand but mainly it’s about YOU. Playing football in the back garden and down the alleys, football in the playground at school. It’s also about Gary Lineker pooing himself.
Includes book sales and signing.
The Funny Life of Football is winner of the Sunday Times Children’s Sports Book Prize 2023.

James has appeared at many festivals at home and abroad and visited a huge array of schools inspiring children to write and be more creative.
