Come and listen to award-winning Suffolk author A M Howell speak about how she uses real historical events and objects to tell stories. Hear about the real-life archaeological finds that inspired her book The Secret of the Treasure Keepers and have fun taking part in a map-based spot the difference! There will also be a chance to ask Ann-Marie questions at the end. Includes bookselling and signing.

A M Howell’s middle grade historical mysteries have been published to widespread critical acclaim, with five star ratings from The Telegraph, twice gaining the coveted Times Children’s Book of the Week slot as well as receiving The East Anglian Book of the Year Award in 2020 for The House of One Hundred Clocks. Her third book, Mystery of the Night Watchers, was called a superb historical adventure by The Telegraph and was selected as Blackwell’s Children’s Book of the Month for July 2021. Her latest thrilling historical mystery, The Secret of the Treasure Keepers, is set on a fictional Fenland farm and features stolen treasure, friendship and deep courage in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War.
