Have you heard of `Domestic Noir`? It was first used to define a sub-genre of crime fiction in 2013, when Julia Crouch described it was `primarily set in homes, concerning itself largely (but not exclusively) with the female experience.`
In Domestic Noir, the home and family is a challenging and dangerous place.
In this session writers Julia Crouch, Elizabeth Haynes and Ruth Dugdall will talk about why `domestic noir` is so popular, and also so terrifying, for readers.
