Three very different writers talk about their work and the influence of Suffolk on their writing. Pauline Manders‘ ‘Utterly’ crime series moves around the county, including the annual Needham Market Raft Race. Rosy Thornton‘s short story collection is entitled Sandlands, and is set in and around the village of Blaxhall in the Suffolk ‘sandlings’, not far up the coast from Felixstowe. Finally, Mary Powles‘ intriguing tale, The Accidental Stalker, is set partly in Wales and partly in Felixstowe.

This event is chaired by Meg Reid.
