Crime authors Carol Ann Lee and Nicola Upson join writer and broadcaster Mandy Morton to discuss the strange world of fact and fiction. Carol has written widely on the subject of some of the most notorious murder cases of the 20th century, including The Moors Murderers, Ruth Ellis and 
Jeremy Bamber. Nicola’s very successful detective fiction series featuring Josephine Tey often uses true crime events at the heart of the novels including the murder of Maria Marten in the Red Barn, and the Victorian baby killers Sach and Walters. Both authors have been inspired by each other’s work.
