Get a glimpse of the future of crime writing by joining two very different writers in conversation…
For those who have grown tired of modern detective novels help is at hand. Death in Profile marks the beginning of a new series by Guy Fraser-Sampson called The Hampstead Murders, which tell contemporary stories but with the strong influence of the Golden Age. Look out for a surprise appearance by a famous fictional detective…!
Hugh Fraser is best known as the actor who played Captain Hastings alongside David Suchet’s Poirot in the long-running and much loved eponymous television series. It seems that some of Agatha Christie’s imagination for criminal intrigue has rubbed off on him, as in July 2015 Hugh made his writing debut with his first novel, Harm, a fast-paced, violent and racy page-turner that will have you gripped.
This event is chaired by Elaine Simpson-Long.
