Daniel Defoe – The Lockdown Diaries written by Suzanne Hawkes

Its 1664 and the world is on the cusp of a sweeping pandemic which will devastate the population and change lives for everyone.

Would be writer Daniel Defoe, living in London and struggling to make ends meet,  is caught up in these traumatic events and decides to document his experiences and those of the people he meets. A poignant and humorous look at life during lockdown in 17th Century  England.
