National Coastguard Rescue Boat will be on a trailer for the public to inspect. Volunteers will tell stories of rescues and of the Felixstowe Life Boat that launched in 1801 – the first in East Anglia.
This area overlooks the loading area of the Port and the historic Landguard Fort – worth a visit in itself.
This event is part of the Pop-Up Festival which will be using unique venues around Felixstowe for charge free, intergenerational events inspired by our port and sea side location.
